Assalamualaikum,
Earlier today I received a text message saying one of my juniors had passed away. Quite a shock when someone you know passes. It takes you back as you try to remember your last conversation or the last time you two met.
On FB, my news feed was flooded with sadness from other juniors, his classmates especially. He was a real nice guy. Helped out in many activities. Liked by probably everyone. May Allah bless him and may all his good deeds be accepted by Allah, amin.
Seeing all the love for him on FB, I don't know if anyone else felt the way I did. I wondered, when I go, will people miss me? Will my absence be felt? Will I have done something worthwhile on this Earth, will I have left a part of me in others, will I have done enough good to prepare me for the next life?
You never know when your time will come. Death has no warning. No snooze button. You can't see it coming, you can't delay it. That's why we must always prepare for the next life. Always live like it's your last day here.
When we die, we leave everything behind. We go to Allah with our Iman. Of all the things we leave behind, let one of them be a warmth in peoples hearts.
Stay safe, and never forget Allah.

Heard the news just now from my friend. Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rajiun.
Am thinking the same.. :(
Exactly what I was thinking when I heard the news:
What if it was me?
May Allah bless him.
