Assalamualaikum,
Been a long time. Nothing to write about really. Life's getting to dull. A few months back there were so many things to write about. Papers were full of issues for me to write on. Not so much nowadays.
Anyway, you guys know about that hadith where someone asks our Prophet (PBUH) who is the best person to make our companion? And our Prophet mentions our mother 3 times before mentioning our father? It's true that our mother deserves our companionship a bit more than our father, but I'm afraid that some people might overlook their fathers because of this. Mothers come first, but fathers deserve no less from us either.
Our fathers do so much for us over the course of our lives. While mothers provide care, love and compassion, fathers provide food, shelter and protection. Our fathers are the ones who feed us when we are hungry. Who pay for our schooling fees. Who pay for our medical expenses. Father's are solely responsible for taking care of the family. And at times we may forget that and take things for granted.
We're always reminded to think about our mothers. But lets not forget about our fathers in the process =)
